Job Description/Responsibilities:
Researching topics, generating ideas and background information for programs. Planning and rehearsing shows. Writing, and sometimes memorizing, scripts. Preparing and presenting material ‘on air’ for both pre-recorded and live shows. Preparing interview questions and conducting both live and recorded interviews. Preparing timings for each news item and monitoring these during broadcast. Comfortable with being in front of a camera.
