Instagram Testing Reels: Will it Surpass TikTok in Terms of Subscribers?

When many tech critics said that the photo-sharing app has copied this feature from Tiktok, the company denied it and said: “No two products are exactly the same, and at the end of the day, sharing video with music is a pretty universal idea we think everyone might be interested in using. The focus has been on how to make this a unique format for us… Your Friends are already on Instagram. I think that’s only true of Instagram” Previously, Instagram had facilitated its users to find songs and borrow audios from other videos however Reels will also promote lip-syncing and loads of other editing features such as captions, video transitions and adding special effects to the video. Currently, Instagram Reels is in the testing phase in Brazil and right now the company has not announced that when it will make its way to other markets. If Instagram has the same fate which it had when it copied Snapchat stories feature, it will in no time surpass TikTok.
