HarmonyOS

HarmonyOS is the first step taken by Huawei to get independent from Google’s OS. The company started to plan about launching its own OS when Google suspended its license back in May. Though, it is said that HarmonyOS took good two years for its growth. Huawei says, for now, the focus is being made on smart screens integrated with HarmonyOS. However, Huawei’s OS is runnable on PCs, wearables, tablets, and smartphones. The company further said that the OS is ready for use in its smartphones. But now, it intends to continue using Android for smartphones.

Honor Vision’s Hardware

If we talk about hardware, it possesses an octa-core processor, which will process the images on the screen. Further, it has  Huawei’s Honghu 818 chipset. Huawei’s Honor Vision TV is served as a smart hub. In addition, it also notifies about the weather. This smart TV can be controlled by a smartphone.

Sales

It will set on sales on August 15th, most probably. The Honor Vision is $540 and Honor Vision Pro is $680. However, the major difference between Honor Vision and Honor Vision Pro is a retractable camera embedded on the Pro. The internal storage is 16GB and 32GB respectively. The Honor Vision, for now, comes up with free on-site installation and a 30-day return policy.
